Been to the funeral of an old friend and boss Malcolm “Mac” Murray today at Delves Chapel,
Mac gave jobs to a lot of people from Consett after the Steelworks closed myself included in his offshore fabrication business known as Consett Industries Construction at Blackhill,
His other local achievements were the garden centre at Allensford and the building of the Derwent Manor Hotel,
Mac was a great boss to work for, happy days indeed, here’s a few photos from back then.
